Sleeping Garden

We had our first big frost a couple of weeks ago. I know it’s a necessary part of the ego system, but I miss my plant friends through the winter.

Every day, after work to relive stress, I visit my garden. Yes, I talk to my plants, and I know each one by its name and habits. I know when one is sick and when it’s thriving.

This summer, I gathered from my plants, making sure to only take a third of each plant. This allows the plant to continue to thrive and grow more the rest of the season.

I enjoy drying my herbs for my kitchen. I use them every day when I cook, making each dish is special, healthy, and delicious.

I offer my herbs in my Etsy shop if you are interested in having fresh dried herbs in your kitchen too. I price them low and lower than what they are worth being homegrown and organic, but I love them being used by others. Order HERE

If you would like to see more of my plants, visit me on Facebook or on my website dedicated to our small homestead. I take tons of photos and videos of my herbs, flowers, and vegetables.

You can also read posts on herb preps, recipes, and much more.

Not sure how to use herbs in your cooking, I also have a downloadable eBook called Cooking With Herbs that teaches you how to use common herbs. Download to your computer, tablet, and phone. Order HERE
